ORIGIN: Found in Peru, Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay.

DESCRIPTION: Small sized, cool to cold growing terrestrial orchid with a few elliptic, acute to acuminate, abruptly narrowing below into the elongate, petiolate base leaves that blooms on a terminal, erect, 12 [30 cm] long, enveloped by linear, acute, inflated bracts, densely many flowered, conical inflorescence with and as long as the ovary floral bracts.
