ORIGIN: Found in southwestern Guanxi, Yunnan and southeastern Xizang China, Taiwan and the Philippines in moist shady locales in dense forests at elevations of 1200 to 1300 meters.
DESCRIPTION: Medium sized, warm to cool growing terrestrial with tufted, leafy in the upper half stems carrying usually 5, oblong, plicate, basally clasping leaves that blooms in the fall on a suberect, arising from the lower nodes of the stem, [8 to 14 [20 to 35 cm] long, densely puberulous, racemose, laxly many flowered inflreoscence carrying small flowers that do not open well.
