ORIGIN: Found in southern New Guinea and in northern Australia.

DESCRIPTION: Small to medium sized, hot growing epiphyte from low-lying swampy flats or Melaleuca forests with a dry winter and spring with clustered, basally swollen canes carrying several, dark green, fleshy, linear-lanceolate leaves that are clustered towards the apex and blooms in the late winter and spring on an erect, 16 [37.5 cm] long inflorescence carrying up to 13 glossy, fragrant and long-lived flowers.
