Chrysoglossum chloranthum is an orchid species identified by (Gagnep.) Tang & F.T.Wang in 1951. Culture information and photos for this orchid are commonly detailed under the currently accepted name of Collabium chloranthum.
ORIGIN: Found in Lam Dong Vietnam in montane forests at elevations around 2000 meters.
DESCRIPTION: Small to medium sized, cool to cold growing terrestrial with a non branching rhizome giving rise to alternating 1 terete, slender, bearing a leaf and one cylindrical bearing an inflorescence pseudobulbs the single leaf being lanceolate, acute, plicate, main nerved to 7, prominent beneath, petiolate base leaf that blooms in the fall on an erect, peduncle [28 to 28] cm] long, rachis triangular,to 6 flowered inflorescene with reflexed ovate-oblong, acute, 3 nerved floral bracts and carrying wide opening flowers with several open at any one time.
