ORIGIN: Found on Lord Howe Island Australia among low scrub near the coast at elevations of 50 to 150 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Small sized, hot growing epiphyte with an erect, basally branched stem carrying numerous, bright green, somewhat fleshy, thickened and deflexed apically leaves that blooms in the spring on a spreading, axillary, [3 to 4 cm] long, 2 to 5 flowered inflorescence.

FLOWER SIZE: 0.32 to 0.4 inches [0.8 to 1 cm] -- information provided by Jay Pfahl, author of the Internet Orchid Species Encyclopedia (IOSPE).
