ORIGIN: Found in Assam India and in Myanmar in hill forests at elevations of 900 to 1500.

DESCRIPTION: Miniature to small sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with 1.2 [3 cm] between each oblong, compressed, basally sheathed pseudobulb carrying 2, apical, oblong to linear-lanceolate, acuminate, plicate, 7 nerved, gradually narrowing below into the petiolate base leaves that blooms in the winter and early spring on a hysteranthous, erect, 2.2 [5.5 cm] long, slightly zig-zag, 5 to 7 flowered inflorescence with a few imbricating basal bracts, deciduous floral bracts and carrying simultaneously opening, small flowers.
