ORIGIN: Found in New Guinea at elevations around 450 to 1000 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Small sized, warm growing terrestrial with a short rhizome giving rise to an erect, short, somewhat thickened, terete, glabrous stem carrying about 4 to 6, erect-patent to erect, lanceolate-elliptic, acute, glabrous, cuneate below into the narrow petiolate base leaves that blooms in the fall on a thin, erect, strict to substrict, angled, to 5.2 [13 cm] long, laxly 8 to 20 flowered inflorescence with deflexed, linear-lanceolate, acuminate, half as long as the ovary floral bracts.
