ORIGIN: Found in Costa Rica, Panama, Ecuador and Bolivia in rain and cloud forests at elevations of 220 to 3100 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Large to giant sized, warm to cool, pendant growing epiphyte with branched to unbranched stems in the upper 1/2 carrying distichous, non-deciduous, reflexed, oblong, apiculate leaves that blooms at most ant time of the year on an axillary, single flowered inflorescence.
