ORIGIN: Found in Malaya, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Sumatra, Borneo, and the Philippines.

DESCRIPTION: Free standing, large sized, hot to warm growing terrestrial in lowland grasslands with basal roots giving rise to an elongate stem bearing many, imbricate, strap-shaped, gradually narrowed from the base to the acute apex, leaves that are basally clasping and articulate to the stem that blooms in the late spring on a 16 [40 cm] long, 10 flowered inflorescence with ovate, acute floral bracts.
