ORIGIN: Found in eastern & southern Brazil at elevations of 1100 to 1300 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Miniature to small sized, cool growing epiphyte, or terrestrial beneath trees in loose leaf litter with light green, conical, 2 [5 cm] tall, slightly compressed, purple furrowed pseudobulbs enveloped basally by 1 to 2 leaf bearing sheaths and carrying 2 apical, erect, narrow, light green, rounded apically leaves that blooms in the summer and fall on a basal, 6 to 8 [15 to 40 cm] long, erect to suberect, branched, many flowered inflorescence.
