ORIGIN: Found in Malaysia, Borneo, Sumatra and the Phillipines in peat, swamp and lower montane forests at elevations around sea-level to 1500 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Large sized, hot to cool growing terrestrial with flattened, cylindrical pseudobulbs carrying several, plicate, oblong, acute leaves with the edges crisped and pinkish that blooms inthe summer on a 24 [60 cm] long, stout, purple many flowered inflorescence with irregular spaced flowers.
