ORIGIN: Found as a cold growing, smaller terrestrial in the southeastern USA with a subterranean corm giving rise to narrowly linear, long-acuminate leaves that blooms in the late winter and early spring on a basal, 1 1/2' [45 cm] long, subcapitate, slender, erect to arching, few to several, successive flowered inflorescence.

DESCRIPTION: Found as a cold growing, smaller terrestrial in the southeastern USA with a subterranean corm giving rise to narrowly linear, long-acuminate leaves that blooms in the late winter and early spring on a basal, 1 1/2' [45 cm] long, subcapitate, slender, erect to arching, few to several, successive flowered inflorescence.
