ORIGIN: Found in the Philippines in mossy montane forests at elevations of 300 to 2900 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Small sized, warm to cold growing epiphyte with close set, swollen pseudobulbs enveloped completely by imbricate, elongate, papery bracts and carrying a single, apical, erect, linear to narrowly oblong, gradually tapering below, acute leaf that blooms in the spring through fall on a terminal, erect, flattened, strongly winged, successively single, several flowered inflorescence with 2 ranked, close set, conduplicate, clawed, oblong-lanceolate, acute, deciduous floral bracts.
