ORIGIN: Found in the West Indian Ocean in humid lowland forests and littoral forests at elevations of sea-level to 300 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Hot growing epiphytic orchid with an erect root system that develops around the base of the plant. The pseudobulbs carry linear-lanceolate leaves and bloom in the spring on an erect, paniculate, many flowered inflorescence and arise before the new growth.
