ORIGIN: Found only in Fiji as a miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte at elevations of 600 to 1150 meters on shaded tree trunks or forks of mossy trees in open or dense forest often along streams.

DESCRIPTION: Found only in Fiji as a miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte at elevations of 600 to 1150 meters on shaded tree trunks or forks of mossy trees in open or dense forest often along streams with ovoid or cylindrical, narrow apically, yellow or orange stems enveloped by many gray leaf sheaths that deteriorate with age and leave numerous fibers. The plant has 2 to 3 apical, oblong-lanceolate leaves and blooms on a short, few [1 to 3] flowered inflorescence arising from the apex or nodes near by on leafless canes with long-lasting flowers occurring in the summer though winter.
