ORIGIN: Found in Yugoslavia and Italy in short, poor grasslands, garrigue, scrub and open woodlands at elevations up to 680 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Small to medium sized, cold growing terrestrial orchid that blooms in the spring on a lax, 4 to 8 flowered inflorescence..
