Pecteilis lobbii is an orchid species identified by (Rchb.f.) M.A.Clem. & D.L.Jones in 2018. Culture information and photos for this orchid are commonly detailed under the currently accepted name of Habenaria lobbii.
ORIGIN: Found in Borneo in lowland limestone hills and lower montane mossy forest at elevations of 100 to 1100 meters.
DESCRIPTION: Miniature sized, hot to warm growing terrestrial with thick, fleshy, wooly hairy roots and 4 to 6 aranged at the base, occasionally one on the inflorescence, lanceolate, acuminate, attenuate to the sheath, somewhat fleshy, undulate margin, conspicuous midrib dorsally, 7 main nerved leaves that blooms in the winter, spring and summer on an erect, 15 to 42 [37 to 85 cm] long, lax, 12 to 22 flowered inflorescence with ovate-elliptic, long-acuminate floral bracts.
