ORIGIN: Found in New Guinea, the Bismark Archipelago and the Solomon Islands at elevations around 1100 to 1200 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with a short rhizome giving rise to oboclavoid-elliptic pseudobulbous stems carrying 2 to rarely 3, apical, erect-patent, glabrous, subcoriaceous, narrowly ligulate, obtuse to shortly apiculate, narrowing below into the base leaves that blooms in the fall and winter on a subsessile, short, laxly 2 flowered inflorescence with ovate, acuminate, glabrous bracts.
