ORIGIN: Found in Peru and Brazil at elevations of 1350 to 1500 metes.

DESCRIPTION: Medium sized, cool growing terrestrial with an ascending, thin stem carrying a few oblong-lanceolateacute to acuminate, attenuate below into a pseudo-petiolate base leaves that blooms on an erect, terminal, villous-tomentose, 4.8 to 7.2 [12 to 18 cm] long, spicate, densely many flowered inflorescence.
