ORIGIN: Found in Antioquia Colombia on the western Cordillera at elevations around 2050 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Small sized, cool growing epiphyte with stout, erect ramicaul with a tubular sheath below and 2 others at the base carrying a spreasing, coriaceous, narrowly ovate, acute, acuminate, sessile, cordate leaf that blooms in the spring on a .1 to .15 [2 to 3 mm] long, single flowered inflorescence arising and confined within a reclining spathe with tubular floral bracts.
