ORIGIN: A mini-fan equitant from Angola, Cameroon, Ghana, Guinea, Ivory Coast, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Tanzania, Uganda and Zaire with glasslike flowers that likes hot to warm temps and is found in evergreen rainforests often near waterfalls or rivers at altitudes of 750 to 1950 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Small sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte and occasional lithophyte with a short stem enveloped completely by conduplicate leaf bases carrying 4 to 8 distichous, falcate, bilaterally compressed, acute, fleshy leaves that blooms on a axillary, 2 [5 cm] long, several [5 to 20] flowered, subumbellate inflorescence that are shorter than the leaves with simultaneously opening, longlasting flowers all occurring in the spring through fall. Best grown in a pot with a coarse mix to provide excellent drainage, hot to warm, humid, semi-shaded conditions and a definite drying out between waterings.
