DESCRIPTION: Small to just medium sized, cold growing terrestrial orchid with a short stem carrying 3 to 7, oblong-elliptic to lanceolate, near erect, positioned all aong the stem leaves with the uppermost 2 to 3 being bract-like and are equal to or longer than the ovaries that blooms on an erect, 1 to 3 [2.5 to 7.5 cm] long, densly many flowered, spire-like, racemose inflorescence occurring in the late spring and early summer.
