ORIGIN: Found in northwestern Ethiopia in montane grasslands an swampy meadows at elevations of 1500 to 1600 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Small sized, cool growing terrestrial with an erect leafy stem carrying 3 to 5, oblong-lanceolate to lanceolate-linear, grading smaller above into bract-like leaves that blooms in the summer on a terminal, erect, cylindrical, 2 to 4 [5 to 10 cm] long, densely many flowered inflorescence with narrowly lanceolate, shorter than the pedicel floral bracts.
