ORIGIN: Found in the shady forests of Espirito Santos, Brazil amongst grasses at elevations of 800 to 1000 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Medium sized, warm growing, rupicolus orchid with obclaviform, elongate pseudobulbs carrying 2, apical, coriaceous, elliptic-elongate, straight leaves that blooms in the winter on an apical, to 16 [to 40 cm] long, to 12 flowered inflorescence with up to 6 flowers open at any one time.
