ORIGIN: Found from Panama, Trinidad & Tobago, Surinam, Fr. Guiana, Guyana, Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia at elevations of 100 to 1000 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Mini-miniature sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with suberect, stout ramicauls enveloped by a tubular sheaths and carrying a single, apical, suberect, coriaceous, elliptical, subsessile, subacute to rounded apically, cuneate below into the subpetiolate base leaf that blooms in the spring and summer on an erect, lax, .1 to .2 [2 to 5mm] long, successively single to 2 flowered, racemose inflorescence artising from a node below the base of the leaf.
