ORIGIN: Found in Rio de Janeiro state of Brazil.

DESCRIPTION: Small to medium sized, cool growing terrestrial with a basal rosette of large, oblong to obovate-oblong, acute, undulate margined, pale green, sparsely flecked with clear green spots, membraneous leaves that blooms in the spring on a terminal, erect, enveloped by 6 to 8 spaced, darker, erect, acuminate, semi-amplexicaule, lanceolate shaeths.
