ORIGIN: Found in Guatemala, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Panama, Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia in cloud forests at elevations of 1000 to 2200 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with ascending, slender ramicauls that produce another ramicaul from the apex and enveloped basally by 2 to 6, microscopically ciliate, lepanthiform sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, thickly coriaceous, elliptical, subacute, contracted below into a petiolte base leaf that blooms in the late spring and early summer on a loose, .8 to 1.2 [2 to 3 cm] long, flexuous, subsecund, simultaneously several flowering inflorescence arising from near the apex of the ramicaul.
