ORIGIN: Found in northwestern Venezuela and northeastern Colombia at elevations around 2700 to 3000 meters.
DESCRIPTION: Mini-miniature sized, cold growing epiphyte with erect, slender, ramicauls enveloped by 3 to 5,minutely ciliate, lepanthiform sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, thickly coricaeous, elliptical, subacute, cuneate below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the spring summer and fall on a loose, lightly flexuous, 1.2 to 2.4 [3 to 6 cm] long including the .6 to .8 [1.5 to 2 cm] long peduncle, simultaneously several flowered inflorescence arising from near the apex of the ramicaul.
