ORIGIN: Found in Queensland and New South Wales at elevations of 5 to 800 meters in mangroves and rainforests along stream banks, rivers, lakes or swamps.

DESCRIPTION: Pendant, cool to hot growing epiphytes or occasionally lithophytes. They bloom from winter through the end of spring, with the end of spring as the most prolific time on a slender, to 12 [30 cm], often branching, with a few to several flowered inflorescence that arises from near the leaf bases or from the rhizome and carrying fragrant [licorice] flowers.
