ORIGIN: Found in Colombia and Ecuador at elevations of 1000 to 2000 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Small to medium sized, cool growing epiphyte that blooms in the summer on a laxly pendant to semi-erect, 4 [10 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence.

FLOWER SIZE: 2.6 inches [7 cm] -- information provided by Jay Pfahl, author of the Internet Orchid Species Encyclopedia (IOSPE).
