ORIGIN: Found in southern India at elevations of 750 to 1800 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Mini-miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with a very short stem carrying 1 to 3, oblong-elliptic, conduplicate at the subpetiolate base leaf that blooms in the fall on a terete, short, .4 to 4 [1 to 8 cm] long, purplish violet, few flowered inflorescence with lanceolate, acute floral bracts.
