ORIGIN: Ambon Island, Sulawesi, Papua and New Guinea and Indonesia in low elevation, shady, humid forests with year round rainfall.

DESCRIPTION: A small sized, hot growing, epiphytic species with to 4, elliptic to oblong-elliptic or oblanceolate leaves that blooms on a lateral, arching, 18 [45 cm] long, racemose or paniculate many flowered inflorescence with small bracts occurring in the late winter and early spring with long-lasting flowers.
