RUTGERS MIX: As Potting Medium The 7-1-1-1 ratio is used by 16% of U.S. commercial growers: 7 parts fir bark; i part coarse peat moss, 1 part Palco redwood wool, 1 part coarse perlite; the Off alteration on this has a lower pH.
