If its presence in the water supply is suspect as harmful to plants, let it stand in an open container with surface exposed to the air for several hours. NZ87My-75

It may harm paphiopedilums, OIE85Sept.; let it stand in a plastic garbage can overnight for the chlorine to dissipate, then add fertilizer before watering. OIE86Jan-3
