Most of them injure plants; paints, creosotes, pentachlorophenol (penta) all have toxic effects; for methods of counteracting refer to AH53. only one is safe to use on wood benches and that is cuprinol or copper napthanate (green). C73-19 see also Penta preservative; Wood preservatives
