Printing an OrchidWiz Profile Page

  1. Search for the orchid you wish to add to a list.  For example, Phal. Ai Golden Berries:

    Search Method 1 – From the start tab, enter Golden in the yellow box “Database Orchid Search” Click search Orchid.  A new tab “orchid Search” opens and Phal Ai golden Berries is highlighted at the top of the list.



    Search Method 2 – From the start tab, double-click "Phalaenopsis, Doritis" under the Group Name.  A new tab Group will open.  Type Ai in the box below “scroll by typing the first few letters of the name”  Click on Phal Ai Golden Berries to highlight the orchid.



     
  2. Click on the Profile page next to the photo of the orchid.  

  3. A new tab opens with the name of the Orchid.  Click the "Report" button found at the top of the tab next to the Orchid name.  
  4. A new window called preview will open. 
  5. To print, click the printer icon.

To save as is, click the disc icon and select the location to save the file to.  Not that this will save in the native .prnx format.  
To modify click file Export document.  Select the file format you wish to use.  For each format a window will open giving you additional options for the file prior to saving:

PDF – Depending on the version of PDF you have installed, you may be able to modify the PDF.
HTML -  This is not able to be modified.
MHT – MHT is the file extension for MIME HTML, a web page archive format. Introduced with Microsoft’s Internet Explorer in 1999, it is used for storing complete web pages – including images and other media data like Flash animations, audio files, and Java applets. 
RTF - The Rich Text Format can be be modified in Microsoft word.
XLS – Microsoft Excel.  This format can be modified
XLSX – New Microsoft Excel format can be modified.  Not as stable as xls some computers can not open this format.
CVS – Comma Separated Values.  This format will remove all photos, charts, tables and formatting from the document.  It will usually open in MS Excel.  
TXT – Text.  This format will remove all photos, charts, tables and formatting from the document.  It will usually open in notepad or word.  
Image File – Will save to a .pgn file extension and save the document as an image that can not be modified.
