ORIGIN: Found in India, Thailand, Laos, Malaysia, Sumatra and Borneo in mixed lowland forests at elevations of sea level to 400 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Small sized, hot growing epiphyte with an erect, terete stem carrying leathery, often purple suffused and or spotted, strap shaped, unequally bilobed apically, narrowing towards the base leaves that blooms in the spring and fall on several, erect-spreading, peduncle .8 to 2.4 [2 to 6 cm] long, slender, terete, few bracted, rachis to .6 [1.5 cm] long, successively single, 10 to 20 flowered inflorescence with close set, lanceolate, acute, shorter than the ovary floral bracts.
