ORIGIN: Found in Thailand, Myanmar and India at elevations of 500 to 600 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Mini-miniature sized, warm growing unifoliate epiphyte with a creeping, branching rhizome with up to 2 [5 cm] between each four sided, broadly ovoid to conical, ribbed pseudobulb carrying a single, apical, leathery, somewhat flexible, elliptic to oblong, violet beneath, shortly petiolate base leaf that blooms in the fall on a descending to pendent, somewhat slender, 3.2 [8 cm] long, 10 to 12 flowered inflorescence carrying, simultaneously opening, resupinate flowers.
