ORIGIN: Found in Ivory Coast, Nigeria and Cameroon in montane forests at elevations around 1000 to 2050 meters.
DESCRIPTION: Miniature sized, warm to cold growing lithophyte or epiphyte with .28 to 1 [.8 to 2.5 cm] between each ovoid, slightly flattened, obtusely 4 angled pseudobulbs carrying 2, apical, erect, coriaceous, thick, lanceolate to linear-lanceolate, obtuse, slightly emarginate, midrib prominent abaxially, gradually narrowing below into the shortly petiolate base leaf that blooms in the fall on an erect, distincly swollen towards the apex, glabrous, 3.2 to 21.2 [8 to 23 cm] long, 7 to 30 flowered inflorescence with 9 to 14, tubular, acuminate, fibrous, keeled and glabrous abaxially bracts and spreading, concave, ovate, acute to slightly acuminate, fibrous, keeled and glabrous abaxially floral bracts and carrying distichous flowers.
