ORIGIN: Found in Vietnam on steep mountain slopes on tall mossy trees at elevations around 1100 meters.
DESCRIPTION: Mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with a creeping, rigid, dark grey brown rhizome with 2.4 to 4 [6 to 10 cm] between each dull olive green to brown, narrowly ovate, slightly oblique to the rhizome pseudobulb carrying a single, apical, erect, rigid, coriaceous, oblong-lanceolate, conduplicate, slightly bilobed at apex leaf that blooms in the fall on a basal, erect, purple-brown, stout, rigid, .6 to 1 [1.5 to 2.5 cm] long, 1 to 2 flowered inflorescence with 1 toi 2, basal, yellow-brown, soon decaying, grey, fibrous bracts and purple brown, ovate to narrowly ovate, acute floral bract carrying pendulous, scentless flowers.
