ORIGIN: Found in Borneo in lower montane forests, low mossy scrub forests and in mossy hummocks at elevations around 1200 to 2550 meters.
DESCRIPTION: Miniature sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte or terrestrial or occasional lithophyte with a branching rhizome giving rise to close set to .8 [2 cm] apart, narrowly cylindrical to narrowly fusiform pseudobulbs carrying a single, erect, linear-ligulate to narrowly elliptic, obuse, mucronate, sometimes constricted below the apex, coriaceous, dark green almost metallic sometimes rather yellowish, 5 to 6 nerved, narrowing below into the sulcate petiolate base leaf that blooms in the fall on an erect, peduncle 2 to 4.4 [5 to 11 cm] long, rachis quadrangular, 6 to 10.4 [15 to 26 cm] long, subdense, many flowered inflorescence with a solitary, ovate-elliptic, acute bract and ovate, subacute floral bracts and carrying 2 ranked, sweetly scented, greenish yellow, pale lemon to pale green flowers.
