DESCRIPTION: Small to medium sized, scandent epiphyte with an erect, arcuate to straight, cane-like, laterally compressed stem arising from the middle internodes of the previous stem and carrying 2, subapical, elliptic, bilobed, dorsal keel, articulate below into the base leaves that blooms in the winter on a terminal, racemose, occurring only once, erect, flexuous, ancipitous, strongly laterally compressed, 7.2 to 7.6 [18 to 19 cm] long, several flowered inflorescence arising on a mature stem, each internode with a conduplicate, short, wide, obtuse bract and carrying about 9, successively opening, non-resupinate, yellow flowers.
