ORIGIN: Found in Veraguas Panama on the Pacific slope at elevations around 500 meters.
DESCRIPTION: Medium sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with branching, cane-like, erect, cylindrical, producing new stems from near the apex of the previous stem carrying numerous, all along the stem, distichous, green becoming bronzed towards the apex, subcoriaceous, smooth, narrowly elliptic-ligulate, bilobed, apiculate, gradually larger towards the apex leaves that blooms in the fall on a terminal, occurring only once, racemose, sinuous, 2 to 2.4 [5 to 6 cm] long including the short, 1 to 2 bract covered peduncle, successively single, to 4 flowered inflorescence with slightly larger than the ovary, conduplicate, prominent, obovate floral bracts and carrying green flowers.
