ORIGIN: Found in Amazonas Peru on a branch of the Cordillera Orienta; in wet montane forests at elevations of 2500 to 3000 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Miniature sized, cold growing epiphyte with erect, simple, cane-like, basally terete, laterally compressed abov, thin stems carrying 9, all along the stem, spreading, linear, acute, coriaceous, margin entire leaves that blooms in the late winter on a terminal, racemose, erect, peduncle .28” [7 mm] long, thin, straight, naked, rachis .4” [1 cm] long, thin, terete, .68” [1.7 cm] long overall, simultaneously 3 flowered inflorescence with much shorter than the ovary, narrowly triangular, long-acuminate, embraching floral bracts and carrying resupinate, citic smelling, white, flowers with a green column, the apex yellow green and the disc of the lip orange-yellow.
