ORIGIN: Found in the province of Cotopaxi Ecuador at elevations around 1500 meters.
DESCRIPTION: Small sized, cool growing epiphyte with cane-like, simple, straight, terete, the new stem arising from the middle internode of the previous stem carrying 4, clustered towards the apex of the stem, alternate, articulate, erect-spreading, subcoriaceous, lanceolate, acute, margin entire leaves that blooms in the winter on a terminal, occurring only once, racemose, arching, peduncle thin, somewhat laterally compressed, ancipitous, straight, rachis laterally compressed, thin, straight, 2.4” [6 cm] long, simultaneously about 12 flowered inflorescence with about half as long as the ovary, triangular, acuminate floral bracts and carrying resupinate, green flowers.
