ORIGIN: Found in Chiapas Mexico and Guatemala in mossy cloud forests at elevations of 2750 to 3000 meters.
DESCRIPTION: Mini-miniature to miniature sized, cold growing epiphyte with arcuate, descending ramicauls enveloped by 3 to 6, scarious, 6 veined,densely papilose-muricate lepanthiform sheaths with dilated, mucronate, densely papilose ostia carrying a single, apical, erect, narrowly elliptic to lanceolate, olive green above, purplish beneath, acute and tridenticulate apically, very fleshy, sulcate beneath, shortly petiolate base leaf that blooms in the summer on to 3, 1 to 2 in flower at once, filiform, to 1 [2.5 cm] long, dense, distichous, flexuous, successively single to 25 flowered inflorescence arising on the top of the leaf.
