ORIGIN: This very small, fan-shaped, hot to cool growing, twig epiphyte is from Trinidad, Venezuela, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Bolivia growing on old citrus trees and shrubs in montane rain forests and can be found between the altitudes of 200 and 2200 meters.

DESCRIPTION: This very small, fan-shaped, hot to cool growing, twig epiphyte is from Trinidad, Venezuela, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Bolivia growing on old citrus trees and shrubs in montane rain forests and can be found between the altitudes of 200 and 2200 meters with distichous, arranged in a fan, oblong-lanceolate, conduplicate, compressed, acute leaves that are articulated into the conduplicate leaf-base that blooms in the fall on an erect, 1 1/4 [3 cm] long, axillary, racemose, several flowered inflorescence that is the length of the leaves or shorter.
