ORIGIN: Found as a mini-miniature sized, hot to cool growing, bifoliate epiphyte in Assam, Thailand, Myanmar, Laos, Vietnam and Malaysia in evergreen, semi-deciduous and deciduous dry lowland forests and savana-like woodlands at elevations of sea-level to 1700 meters.
DESCRIPTION: Found as a mini-miniature sized, hot to cool growing, bifoliate epiphyte in Assam, Thailand, Myanmar, Laos, Vietnam and Malaysia in evergreen, semi-deciduous and deciduous dry lowland forests and savana-like woodlands at elevations of sea-level to 1700 meters with flattened at the bottom, ovate pseudobulbs, 2 + apart on a woody rhizome carrying 2, apical, bilobed at the apex, elliptical leaves that blooms in the summer and fall on a basal, slender, 8 to 12 [20 to 30 cm] long inflorescence with an umbel of [5 to 10], successive opening flowers held at the apex, arising well above the leaves.
