DESCRIPTION: Small to medium sized, cold growing terrestrial with numerous, basal, rosulate, erect, subsessile, oblong-lanceolate, obtuse to slightly acute, fleshy, clear green, concave, attenuate below into the base leaves that blooms in the spring on a terminal, erect, thin, enveloped by 2 to 3, submembraneous, slightly ventircose, pale green, oblong-lanceolate, pubescent bracts, 8 to 16 [20 5to 40 cm] long, glabrous below, villous above, lax, 1 to 3 flowered inflorescence with erect, ovate-lanceolate, long acuminate, shortly and sparsely pilose, shorter than the ovary floral bracts.
