ORIGIN: Found in Borneo and Sulawesi in lowland to mixed hill forests at elevations of sea-level to 1000 meters on limestone hills at the base of mossy trees on moist, bare rocks.

DESCRIPTION: Small to medium sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte or lithophyte with a very short stem, completely enveloped by leaf bearing sheaths and carrying, 2 to 3, fleshy, oblong-ligulate, acute to bilobed apically, gradually narrowing below in to the base leaves that blooms in the winter with a lateral, arched, 2 to 4 [5 to 10 cm] long, racemose, few flowered inflorescence with small floral bracts.
